The Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) has released a new gas load-shedding schedule for consumers in Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for the winter months from December to February.
According to SNGPL officials, residential consumers will receive gas in three separate time slots each day. The morning supply will be available from 5:30 am to 8:30 am, the midday supply from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm, and evening supply from 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm. Officials advised the public to plan breakfast and meal preparations around these timings.
SNGPL confirmed that the industrial sector will not face load-shedding, but noted that gas demand has surged significantly during the winter season.
Officials emphasized that there is no shortage of gas in the system, and urged consumers to use gas responsibly and according to necessity, highlighting that rising gas prices make efficient usage essential.
