Pakistan, Iran strengthen cultural ties in Tehran meeting

Federal Minister for National Heritage and Culture, Aurangzeb Khan Khichi, held a cordial meeting in Tehran with Iranian Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance, Seyed Abbas Salehi, reaffirming the longstanding cultural and brotherly ties between Pakistan and Iran.

According to the official statement, during the meeting, both sides expressed their commitment to further strengthening cultural cooperation and enhancing people-to-people linkages. The ministers agreed to continue the momentum of high-level exchanges and explore new avenues for collaboration in heritage preservation, cultural promotion, and artistic exchanges.

Aurangzeb Khichi emphasized that Pakistan attaches great importance to its relations with Iran, particularly in the fields of culture and shared civilizational heritage. The Iranian minister appreciated Pakistan’s cultural initiatives and reiterated Iran’s willingness to deepen partnership in mutually beneficial sectors.

The meeting concluded with both sides agreeing to advance ongoing projects and develop new frameworks aimed at bringing the peoples of the two countries closer together.
