Concerns over former Prime Minister and PTI Chairman Imran Khan’s health have escalated as his sister, Alima Khan, wrote to the Punjab Home Department and the Inspector General of Prisons, urging immediate access and clarity on his condition.
In her letter, Alima Khan highlighted that since November 4, family members have not been allowed to meet Imran Khan. She called for urgent meetings between Khan, his family, and legal representatives.
Alima Khan also referred to reports in international media questioning Khan’s security and detention conditions, demanding official clarification. She stressed the need for transparency regarding his health and safety, citing growing public concern over his well-being.
The letter requests that the Punjab government provide a prompt response to ensure that transparency and accountability are maintained regarding Imran Khan’s custodial situation.
