PCB completes PSL franchise valuation, offers renewals with new fees

2 min read

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has completed the valuation process of all Pakistan Super League (PSL) franchise teams and assets and has sent renewal offers to all eligible franchises with updated fees for the next ten-year cycle.

Franchise owners have been asked to notify the PSL management of their decisions by the specified deadline. To ensure transparency in the decade-long agreements, PCB has arranged joint and individual meetings between franchise representatives and chartered firm EY MENA, allowing owners to review the valuation process and ask questions.

In addition, PCB has received reports from EY MENA regarding the potential price for two new PSL franchises, and the tendering process for their sale will begin soon. Prospective buyers will be able to choose from cities including Hyderabad, Sialkot, Muzaffarabad, Faisalabad, Gilgit, and Rawalpindi for the new teams.

The PCB management emphasized its commitment to maintaining fair, transparent, and mutually beneficial relations with all PSL partners, highlighting the league’s role in the growth and international recognition of Pakistan cricket.
