India’s former tennis star Sania Mirza spoke candidly about one of the most challenging periods of her life during a conversation with filmmaker Farah Khan.

In an episode of Serving It Up with Sania, Mirza discussed the difficulties she faced following her divorce, including the challenges of raising her son alone. Farah Khan commented on the struggle of being a single mother, saying, “There is no tougher job than being a single mother. Each of us has our own life journey, and we have to choose what’s best.”

Sania acknowledged that balancing motherhood, work, and studies often leaves her exhausted. She shared that there was a moment when she was in significant emotional pain and did not want to perform on camera, but Farah Khan visited her set and supported her, enabling her to continue with the live show.

Farah Khan also revealed that she had been very worried, as she had never seen Sania experience a panic attack before, and witnessed her at her most difficult time.

It may be recalled that Sania Mirza and Shoaib Malik divorced in 2024, and they share a son, Izhaan Mirza Malik.
