Pakistani boxer Qudratullah has secured a spot in the semifinals of the 55kg category at the 6th Islamic Solidarity Games in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, guaranteeing another medal for Pakistan.
Qudratullah advanced after defeating Palestinian boxer Yousef Abdel Aziz in the quarterfinals. In the second round, his dominance prompted the referee to stop the bout, declaring Qudratullah the winner.
Earlier in the tournament, Pakistani athlete Aroosha Saeed won a bronze medal in Kurash, bringing further pride to Pakistan at the games.
The performances underscore Pakistan’s growing presence in international multi-sport competitions and continue to boost the nation’s medal tally in Riyadh.
