The ITF Pakistan National Foods World Junior Tennis Championship J-60 2025 continued at the PTF-SDA Tennis Complex in Islamabad, featuring young talent from around the globe, including China, Japan, Kazakhstan, Korea, Lithuania, Russia, Thailand, Turkey, the United Kingdom, the Czech Republic, Nepal, and host nation Pakistan.
In the Boys’ Doubles Final, Pakistan’s Hamza Roman and Abubakar Talha defeated compatriot Mikaell Ali Baig and Lithuania’s Kristijonas in straight sets, 6-4, 6-4, to claim the ITF J-60 Doubles Title. The pair displayed outstanding skill and teamwork throughout the tournament.
In the Girls’ Singles Final, Haniya Aman Minhas of Saudi Arabia defeated Varvara Rubtsova of Russia 6-1, 6-1 to secure the ITF J-60 Singles Title. Minhas also teamed up with Turkey’s Ecrin Lal in the Girls’ Doubles Final, defeating Turkish pair Deniz Cakil and Serifie Pelin Sari 6-4, 6-0 to lift the Doubles Trophy.
Aisam-ul-Haq Qureshi, President of the Pakistan Tennis Federation (PTF), congratulated the players on their performances and extended best wishes for the upcoming Boys’ Singles Final. Secretary General Col. Zia-ud-din Tufail [R] also praised the athletes for their remarkable achievements.
The Boys’ Singles Final will feature a clash between Hamza Roman and Mikaell Ali Baig, scheduled for tomorrow at 12:00 pm.
