An Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) in Islamabad on Saturday ordered the arrest and production of Aleema Khan and Uzma Khan, sisters of PTI founder Imran Khan, over their persistent non-appearance in court proceedings.
The order was issued during the hearing of the 4 October protest case registered against PTI leaders and others. The ATC, presided over by Judge Tahir Abbas Supra, issued arrest warrants for Aleema Khan and Uzma Khan after they failed to appear before the court despite repeated summons.
The case against them is registered at Kohsar Police Station. The court adjourned the proceedings until November 22.
