The final results of the Medical and Dental College Admission Test (MDCAT) for admissions to public medical and dental colleges in Sindh have been officially announced.
According to the CEO of the Sindh Testing Service (STS), the provisional results issued earlier have now been declared final, as no errors were found during the review process. “The provisional results stand as final because not a single mistake was detected,” the official confirmed.
A total of 32,424 students appeared in this year’s MDCAT exam. The passing criteria required candidates to secure at least 55% marks for MBBS admission and 50% for BDS.
Across Sindh, 14,300 candidates scored 55% or above, while 17,123 students obtained 50% or more.
Meanwhile, students from Karachi outperformed candidates from all other districts of Sindh in the MDCAT 2025 conducted by IBA Sukkur University, securing all top three positions. Out of the top 124 candidates, 41 belonged to Karachi.
