Pakistan Pair wins boys’ doubles title at ITF World Junior Tennis Championship

Pakistan’s junior tennis players Hamza Roman and Ahtesham Humayun secured the Boys’ Doubles title at the ITF Pakistan Ali Embroidery World Junior Tennis Championship J-30 (Leg 2) – 2025, being held at the PTF-SDA Tennis Complex in Islamabad.

The pair registered a straight-set victory over fellow Pakistanis Zohaib Afzal Malik and Abubakar Talha, winning 7-6(6), 6-2 in the final.

In the Girls’ Doubles final, Kazakhstan dominated the court as Polina and Karolina Ligai defeated Turkey’s Deniz Cakil and Ecrin Lal in a closely contested match. The Kazakh pair won 6-3, 2-6, (10-8).

A large number of junior players from China, Japan, Kazakhstan, Korea, Lithuania, Russia, Thailand, Turkey, the United Kingdom, and Pakistan are competing in the tournament.
