Pakistan’s national hockey team is set to tour Spain as part of its preparations for the upcoming FIH Pro League, with fixtures scheduled in Barcelona next month.

According to sources, Pakistan will play two matches against Spain on 29 and 30 November in Barcelona. The squad is expected to depart for Spain on 26 November, following its tour of Bangladesh.

In the first phase of the Pro League, Pakistan will travel to Argentina, where they will face Argentina and the Netherlands between 10 and 15 December. The second leg of the event will take place in Hobart, Australia, in February, where Pakistan will meet Australia and Germany.

Pakistan’s European leg of the league is scheduled for June. The Green Shirts will play Belgium and Spain in Belgium in the second week of June, followed by matches against England and India in London later that month. The highly anticipated Pakistan–India encounters have been fixed for 23 and 25 June.

Before the Pro League, Pakistan is also touring Bangladesh, where the team will play three matches in Dhaka on 13, 14 and 16 October. The winner of this series will qualify for the World Cup Qualifiers, slated for the last week of February. The venue and detailed schedule for the Qualifiers will be finalised after the Bangladesh series.
