According to a press release issued by the PCB, a total of 157 domestic cricketers have been awarded contracts for the upcoming season. The contracts will remain valid from August 2025 to July 2026.

This year, the PCB has introduced four categories instead of the previous three-tier system. Under the new structure, 30 players have been placed in Category One, 55 in Category Two, 51 in Category Three, and 21 in Category Four.
