Habib Bank Limited (HBL) has renewed its title sponsorship agreement with the Pakistan Super League (PSL), extending its partnership with the country’s premier T20 cricket tournament.
The announcement was made during a joint press conference at the National Bank Stadium in Karachi, where PSL CEO Salman Naseer and HBL’s Chief Marketing and Communications Officer Ali Habib shared details of the renewed deal.
Speaking to the media after the signing, Ali Habib revealed that the value of the PSL has increased by 505% over the past ten years. He noted that extending the title sponsorship was a well-considered decision, reflecting HBL’s longstanding confidence in the league.
“PSL has become a powerful brand. It has not only helped bring international cricket back to Pakistan but also provided emerging talent with a platform to rise,” he said.
PSL CEO Salman Naseer stated that the final valuation report of the league will be released later this week.
Industry observers say the renewal underscores the PSL’s growing commercial strength and its impact on Pakistan’s cricket ecosystem.
