Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif will undertake a visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia from 27 to 29 October at the invitation of His Royal Highness Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman. The Prime Minister will be accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, along with senior Cabinet Ministers.
During the visit, the Prime Minister will participate in the Ninth Edition of the Future Investment Initiative (FII9), which is set to bring together global leaders, investors, policymakers, and innovators. This year’s forum will revolve around the theme, “The Key to Prosperity: Unlocking New Frontiers of Growth,” focusing on key areas such as innovation, sustainability, economic inclusion, and broader geopolitical developments.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Prime Minister will hold meetings with the Saudi leadership to explore opportunities for enhanced cooperation in trade, investment, energy, and human resource development. Regional and international issues of shared interest will also come under discussion.
On the sidelines of the summit, the Prime Minister is scheduled to interact with leaders from other participating countries as well as heads of international organisations. These engagements will be aimed at promoting Pakistan’s investment potential and fostering partnerships in sustainable development under the “Think, Exchange, and Act” model.
The visit reaffirms Pakistan’s commitment to advancing economic diplomacy and strengthening strategic partnerships in the areas of technology, investment, and development.
