Popular Punjabi singer Teji Kahlon was shot dead in Canada, with the notorious Rohit Godara gang claiming responsibility for the killing.
According to Indian media reports, three members of the gang — Vicky Pehalwan, Mahinder Saran, and Rahul Rinaw confessed on social media that they had carried out the shooting of Teji Kahlon in Canada.
In their video message, the gang members issued a chilling warning, saying, “If he has understood, good; otherwise, next time we will finish him too.”
The Rohit Godara gang also threatened individuals, businessmen, and builders allegedly supporting rival gangsters, warning that neither they nor their families would be spared.
Indian news outlets reported that the gang accused Teji Kahlon of financially supporting their rival group, supplying them with weapons, and passing on sensitive information.
The murder has sparked shock among Punjabi music fans and raised further concerns about the growing influence of Indian-origin organized crime groups operating in Canada.
Authorities in both India and Canada are reportedly investigating the case amid rising tensions linked to cross-border gang rivalries.
