The Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) and the Saudi Arabian Football Federation (SAFF) have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) aimed at enhancing football cooperation and development between the two countries.
The agreement was signed by PFF President Mohsin Gilani and SAFF President Yasser Al-Misehal. Under the MoU, both federations will collaborate to promote football at various levels, focusing on coach development, women’s football, and youth programs.
As part of the cooperation, the two countries will also organize joint training camps and exchange programs for footballers, providing opportunities for young talent to train and compete in both nations.
Officials from both federations expressed confidence that the partnership would not only strengthen bilateral sporting ties but also help raise the overall standard of football in Pakistan through technical expertise and exposure to advanced training methods.
The initiative marks a significant step in Pakistan’s ongoing efforts to revive and expand football at the national and grassroots levels, while also deepening sports diplomacy with Saudi Arabia.
