The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has released a revised schedule for by-elections in five constituencies of Faisalabad and Sahiwal divisions, with polling set for November 23, 2025.
According to a spokesperson for the Provincial Election Commissioner Punjab, the by-elections will be conducted in NA-96, NA-104, NA-143, PP-98, and PP-203 constituencies.
Under the new schedule, the last date to file appeals against the decisions of the Returning Officers (ROs) has been set for October 24, while Appellate Tribunals will announce their verdicts by October 31.
The final list of candidates will be published on November 1, and the last date for withdrawal of candidature is November 3. Election symbols will be allocated on November 4, the statement added.
The by-polls will be conducted in accordance with the Election Act, 2017, and the ECP has instructed all candidates and concerned institutions to ensure strict adherence to the code of conduct.
The new schedule follows procedural adjustments made to facilitate smooth and transparent elections in the affected constituencies.
