
The COMSATS University Abbottabad Campus held its 40th convocation, celebrating the achievements of over 1,300 graduates in various disciplines.
According to the university spokesperson Sardar Naseer, a total of 1,283 students received BS and MS degrees, while 32 scholars were awarded PhD degrees during the ceremony. He added that 92 students were presented with medals for outstanding academic performance, and 83 international students also received their degrees.
Addressing the convocation, Rector COMSATS University Prof. Sajid Qamar said that education is the foundation of economic growth and national development, emphasizing that COMSATS is playing a vital role in promoting research and education aligned with the country’s national needs.
Prof. Qamar highlighted that COMSATS University continues to enhance Pakistan’s reputation globally through its commitment to academic excellence and innovation.
