Levies rescue kidnapped teen before Iran trafficking attempt

The Levies Force in Pishin successfully rescued a 17-year-old boy, Fahad Ali, who had been kidnapped from Lahore, during a snap-checking operation on a passenger coach in Quetta.

According to administrative sources, Fahad Ali was recovered safely on Wednesday night when Levies personnel intercepted a bus suspected of carrying abducted individuals. Initial investigation revealed that the abductors had planned to smuggle the boy illegally to Iran and then to Turkey.

District authorities confirmed that a kidnapping case had been registered in Lahore on October 13, 2025, after the teenager went missing from his neighborhood. The abductors had allegedly transported him from Lahore to Quetta as part of a cross-border human trafficking plan.

During the operation, the Levies Force arrested one suspect, identified as Nawaz, who is now under interrogation. Officials said efforts are underway to identify other individuals involved in the crime and uncover the full network behind the abduction.

Security officials said the rescued boy has been placed under protective custody and will soon be reunited with his family.

Commending the Levies Force, government officials stated that the timely operation not only saved the young victim’s life but also thwarted a potential human trafficking attempt. Authorities urged the public to report any suspicious activities immediately to help prevent such incidents in the future.
