Pakistan has earned global recognition by winning two international awards at the Osaka Expo 2025 in Japan, celebrating the country’s creativity, culture, and innovation on the world stage.
According to official sources, the Pakistan Pavilion received the Bureau International des Expositions (BIE) Bronze Award and the Exhibitor Online Editors’ Choice Award, marking a proud moment for the nation.
Built on a limited area of 53 square meters, the pavilion captivated visitors with its creative theme inspired by pink Himalayan salt, titled “A Grain of Salt Contains the Universe.” Its innovative design and artistic expression made it one of the most popular attractions at the expo, drawing more than 1.7 million visitors in just six months.
Pakistan’s Ambassador to Japan and Commissioner General for the pavilion, Abdul Hameed, said the achievement was a result of the team’s hard work, creativity, and professional excellence, despite limited space and resources.
He added that the recognition was a moment of pride for Pakistan and its people, made possible through the full support of the federal government and the dedication of the pavilion’s organizing team.
The ambassador emphasized that Pakistan’s success at Expo 2025 highlights the country’s cultural depth and innovative potential, showcasing a strong blend of national spirit, artistic talent, and teamwork that has elevated Pakistan’s image internationally.
