Renowned Pakistani actress Sarwat Gilani has spoken out against what she described as unprofessional behavior by the team behind the hit film franchise “Jawani Phir Nahi Aani”, including producer Humayun Saeed and his team.
In a recent interview, Gilani revealed that she has declined to take part in the third installment of the popular comedy series, despite having acted in both previous films. She said that while she holds director Nadeem Baig, Humayun Saeed, and Ahmed Ali Butt in high regard, she no longer wishes to reprise her role as “Gul.”
According to Gilani, the team treated her unfairly during the promotion of “Jawani Phir Nahi Aani 2”. She claimed that she had arranged her own travel to London for promotional activities, but received no confirmation or response from the production team.
“It felt like I was being sidelined once my work was done,” the actress said, adding that the experience left her feeling disrespected and disappointed.
Gilani also alleged that several of her scenes were cut from both films, which she considered a form of artistic injustice. She emphasized that she would no longer compromise her self-respect or professional integrity for any project.
Her remarks have sparked debate across social media, with many fans praising her for speaking up about fairness and respect within the entertainment industry.
