Pakistan Army wins gold at Cambrian Patrol 2025 in UK

The Pakistan Army team has won a gold medal at the prestigious Cambrian Patrol 2025 military exercise held in Wales, United Kingdom, according to a statement from the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).

The competition, often described as one of the toughest military exercises in the world, took place from October 3 to 13, 2025. This year’s event featured 137 teams from 36 countries, who competed across challenging terrain in Wales.

Participants were required to cover a 60-kilometer distance within 48 hours, performing a series of demanding military tasks designed to test their endurance, tactical skill, and teamwork under extreme conditions.

Led by Captain Muhammad Saad, the Pakistan Army team displayed outstanding performance and secured the top honor, earning the gold medal for their excellence and professionalism.

The ISPR stated that the achievement is “a matter of pride for the entire nation and the Pakistan Army,” adding that the force continues to uphold its tradition of professional competence, high-level training, and unwavering commitment to raising Pakistan’s flag high on the global stage.

The Cambrian Patrol is organized annually by the British Army and is considered an elite test of soldiering skills, attracting military teams from across the world to compete in realistic combat and navigation challenges.
