Stage actress and dancer Muneeba Shah was shot dead in Peshawar on Saturday night after unidentified gunmen opened fire on her rickshaw.
According to police, the incident took place on Ring Road within the jurisdiction of Machni Gate Police Station, where unidentified assailants targeted the rickshaw.
Muneeba Shah died on the spot, while the rickshaw driver sustained injuries and was shifted to a nearby hospital for medical treatment.
Police said the attackers managed to flee after the shooting. Evidence has been collected from the scene, and an investigation has been launched to trace and arrest the culprits.
