Portuguese football superstar Cristiano Ronaldo has officially become the first billionaire footballer in history, according to the latest Bloomberg Billionaires Index.

The report estimates Ronaldo’s total net worth at $1.4 billion, placing him among the world’s wealthiest athletes. In Pakistani currency, his fortune amounts to more than Rs 393 billion.

Ronaldo, who currently plays for Saudi Pro League club Al Nassr, saw a major surge in his wealth following his new contract signed earlier this year in June, reportedly valued at around $400 million (over Rs 113 billion).

The achievement puts Ronaldo in an elite club of global sports billionaires that includes basketball legends Michael Jordan, Magic Johnson, and LeBron James, as well as golf icon Tiger Woods and tennis great Roger Federer.

Despite his immense success and record-breaking earnings, the 39-year-old star has stated that he is not considering retirement anytime soon, expressing his ongoing passion and commitment to the game.
