Hollywood actress Jenna Ortega, known for her lead role in Netflix’s popular series Wednesday, has once again voiced strong support for the people of Palestine, calling them her heroes.
In an interview with French magazine Gala during an event in Paris, the 21-year-old actress praised the courage and resilience of Palestinians, saying, “I see the people of Palestine as my heroes. They continue to raise their voices despite the world’s silence.”
She emphasized the need to amplify Palestinian voices so the world can understand their pain and ongoing struggle.
This is not the first time Ortega has spoken out in support of Palestine. In June, she posted on Instagram about the suffering in both Iran and Palestine, writing, “My heart is heavy. The cries of Palestinians are buried in daily headlines.”
According to the Palestinian Ministry of Health, at least 67,160 people have been killed and 169,679 injured in Gaza since October 2023 due to Israeli attacks.
Ortega’s consistent advocacy for Palestinian rights has drawn widespread attention in global and social media, earning her praise from fans and human rights activists worldwide. Observers say her stance reflects how the younger generation of international celebrities is increasingly using their voices to speak out on humanitarian issues.
