Popular Indian actors Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna have officially gotten engaged, putting an end to years of speculation about their relationship.
According to Indian media reports, the couple exchanged rings in a private ceremony held on October 3 at Vijay Deverakonda’s residence in Hyderabad. The engagement was an intimate family affair attended only by close relatives.
While neither Vijay nor Rashmika has shared photos or issued an official statement, Deverakonda’s team reportedly confirmed the news on Saturday, making their long-rumored relationship official.
Rumors about the two actors’ romance first surfaced in 2018 after they starred together in the romantic hit Geetha Govindam. At the time, Rashmika was engaged to actor Rakshit Shetty, but the engagement ended a month after the film’s release.
Sources suggest that the couple is planning to tie the knot in February next year, though no date has been formally announced yet.
