The Foreign Ministers of Jordan, the United Arab Emirates, Indonesia, Pakistan, Türkiye, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and Egypt have welcomed the steps taken by Hamas regarding U.S. President Donald Trump’s proposal to end the war on Gaza, release all hostages, and immediately begin negotiations on the proposal’s implementation mechanisms.
In a joint statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the ministers also welcomed President Trump’s call on Israel to immediately halt its bombing campaign and to start implementing the exchange agreement. They expressed appreciation for his commitment to achieving peace in the region, noting that these developments represent a genuine opportunity for a comprehensive and lasting ceasefire and for addressing the dire humanitarian conditions in Gaza.
The statement further welcomed Hamas’s announcement of its readiness to hand over Gaza’s administration to a transitional Palestinian Administrative Committee composed of independent technocrats. The ministers emphasized the urgency of launching negotiations to finalize the mechanisms for implementing the proposal and to address all related aspects.
Reaffirming their collective resolve, the Foreign Ministers reiterated their joint commitment to support the implementation of the peace proposal and to work for an immediate end to the war on Gaza. They called for a comprehensive agreement that ensures the unrestricted delivery of humanitarian aid, prevents the displacement of Palestinians, and guarantees the safety of civilians.
The statement also underscored the need for the release of hostages, the return of the Palestinian Authority to Gaza, the unification of Gaza and the West Bank, and the establishment of a security framework that ensures the safety of all parties. The ministers emphasized that these steps should lead to a full Israeli withdrawal from Gaza, its reconstruction, and the creation of a pathway toward a just and lasting peace based on the two-state solution.
