
The horror film Deemak, produced in collaboration with Geo Films, premiered in the Canadian city of Oakville, where it received an overwhelmingly positive response from audiences.
Film enthusiasts from Toronto and other Canadian cities, including a large number of Pakistani community members, attended the premiere and praised the film as a “trendsetter” in Pakistan’s horror cinema. Many attendees also took pictures with the cast and crew present at the event.
The premiere was attended by producer Murad Ali, director Rafay Rashdi, actress Saman Ansari, and event organizer Faheem Hamid Ali, who were lauded for their creative efforts and contribution to the film.
Among the special guests were Canadian Senator of Pakistani origin Salma Ataullahjan and several community leaders, who commended the movie’s story, production value, and performances.
Viewers described Deemak as a bold and refreshing addition to Pakistani cinema, noting its gripping storyline and cinematic execution.
The film Deemak is scheduled for release in cinemas across Canada on October 17, marking its official nationwide premiere.
