
Pakistan’s biggest music competition, Pakistan Idol, officially begins today, bringing together talented singers from across the country to compete for the nation’s top music title.
According to the show’s spokesperson, thousands of young singers from cities including Sukkur, Multan, Lahore, Rawalpindi, Islamabad, and Karachi participated in auditions, impressing the judges with their melodious voices and passion for music. From thousands of contestants, hundreds have now advanced to the main competition.
A remarkable highlight of this season’s auditions was the participation of differently-abled contestants, who showcased their dedication and love for music through inspiring performances.
The judging panel for this season features renowned artists — Ustad Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Fawad Khan, Zeb Bangash, and Bilal Maqsood — while popular comedian Shafaat Ali will host the show, adding his signature humor and energy.
The much-awaited show will air every Saturday and Sunday at 8 PM on television, promising a blend of talent, entertainment, and emotional performances from across Pakistan.
