Malala Yousafzai’s namesake fund has announced a fresh $100,000 grant to support a relief organization operating in Gaza, bringing its total aid to Palestinians since 2023 to $700,000, the fund says.

According to media reports, the Malala Fund urged the international community to continue demanding an end to genocide, lifting Israel’s blockade, opening borders, and pressing for a permanent ceasefire. It emphasized that Palestinian children deserve better futures and must receive education and psychological support.

The announced funds are earmarked for INARA (International Network for Aid, Relief and Assistance), which works to provide education and mental health services to displaced Palestinian children. According to INARA, over 1.2 million people in Gaza have been displaced amid escalating violence.

Malala’s fund noted that it has already provided $700,000 in support to frontline organizations aiding Palestinians. The new grant is intended to further bolster the relief, education, and trauma-healing work for children directly affected by the conflict.

Previously, Malala Fund had issued emergency grants to groups such as INARA, KINDER USA, and RAWA to serve children under siege.

The latest move underlines the fund’s continued commitment to supporting children in conflict zones and amplifying calls for humanitarian access and protection.
