ISLAMABAD: The Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TİKA) is continuing its emergency relief efforts in flood-hit areas of Punjab, reaching thousands of displaced families with food, hygiene kits, and medical care.

According to TİKA, relief operations are ongoing in the districts of Kasur, Jhang, Bahawalnagar, and Muzaffargarh, where hot meals and Family Hygiene Kits are being distributed to families affected by devastating floods.

In addition, health camps organized through the TİKA Mobile Clinic are serving vulnerable communities in Wazirabad-Sialkot, Kasur, and Multan, providing free medical consultations and essential medicines.

Earlier in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), TİKA carried out similar interventions in Buner and Swat districts, where hot meals were distributed to flood-affected households, Family Hygiene Kits were provided, and the Mobile Clinic delivered primary healthcare services to those living in temporary shelters.

TİKA aims to reach a total of 50,000 people through its emergency response in both Punjab and KP, underscoring Türkiye’s solidarity with Pakistan in the face of climate-induced disasters. The agency reaffirmed its commitment to stand with vulnerable communities in times of crisis.
