LAHORE: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has confirmed that Pakistan fast bowler Waqas Maqsood has announced his retirement from international cricket.
Born in Faisalabad, the 37-year-old left-arm pacer enjoyed a domestic career spanning over a decade. Between 2011 and 2023, he played 81 First-Class matches, 56 List A games, and 68 T20s.
Maqsood also featured in the Pakistan Super League (PSL), representing Islamabad United and Karachi Kings.
He made his international debut in November 2018, playing his only T20I against New Zealand in Dubai. In that match, Maqsood bowled 1.5 overs, conceding 21 runs and taking two wickets.
He became the 80th cricketer to represent Pakistan in T20 internationals.
