
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif condemned the Israeli airstrikes on Doha during a telephone conversation with Qatari Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani.
The prime minister conveyed condolences to the emir, the royal family and the people of Qatar. He described the Israeli strikes as a brutal act that reflected the mindset of the Israeli leadership. He said the aggression violated Qatar’s sovereignty and territorial integrity. He expressed deep sorrow over the loss of lives and damage to civilian property caused by the attacks.
He warned that the Israeli actions posed a serious threat to regional peace and stability. He affirmed that Pakistan stood with Qatar as a strong and united partner. He also emphasised the importance of unity within the Muslim world.
The Qatar emir thanked the premier for his expression of solidarity and appreciation. Both leaders have reaffirmed the deep fraternal ties between Pakistan and Qatar, and agreed to maintain cooperation and engagement for peace and security in the region.
