KARACHI/ISLAMABAD: The Saudi Tourism Authority (STA) has strengthened its commitment to Pakistan with the successful conclusion of a four-day B2B roadshow in Karachi and Islamabad. The event introduced new MICE opportunities and destination experiences, reinforcing ties between the two countries’ travel and business sectors.
The roadshow brought together Saudi stakeholders such as leading hotels, destination management companies, destination marketing organizations, airlines, and transport providers with key Pakistani trade partners. One-on-one business meetings, B2B matchmaking, and MICE networking sessions created new avenues for collaboration while showcasing Saudi’s growing tourism offerings.
Saudi is positioning itself as a hub for MICE tourism with world-class convention centers, futuristic venues, and an ecosystem designed for international meetings, incentives, conferences, and exhibitions. The roadshow also promoted Saudi’s diverse experiences including the heritage of AlUla, the energy of Riyadh, the vibrancy of Jeddah, and the natural beauty of Abha, Taif, and AlBaha. Major entertainment and lifestyle events such as MDL Beast and Riyadh Season were also highlighted.
To encourage engagement, exclusive promotions were launched. These included summer deals, early-bird discounts for winter AlUla tours, and tailored packages for leisure and group travel.
The Saudi delegation featured Taiba Investments, Saudi Silk Route, Via Konnect, 88 Destinations, Kurban Tours, King Abdullah Economic City (represented by Via Konnect), Qiddiya, Aroya Cruise (represented by JAS Travels), Saudia Airlines, FlyADeal, the Haramain Train, and the Kingdom’s expanding metro and high-speed rail services that are improving connectivity across cities.
This roadshow reaffirms Saudi’s long-term commitment to Pakistan and its vision to provide integrated travel solutions blending business, culture, and leisure.
