Mishi Khan quits from social media to focus on mental health

KARACHI: Popular actor and television host Mishi Khan has announced that she will no longer create videos on social issues and will be stepping back from social media activities to focus on her personal life and mental health.
The actor, known for raising her voice against injustice and highlighting social problems, made the announcement in a video posted on Instagram. She said that despite her continuous efforts to speak out, she has lost hope that any meaningful change will take place in the country.

“I have always spoken up about the wrongs happening in society, but now I have lost hope. I know nothing will ever improve in this country,” Mishi Khan said in her message.

She explained that the constant exposure to disturbing and painful news had taken a toll on her mental health. “My mind has slowed down after seeing so many distressing things. I have decided to prioritize my mental health and will take some time away to focus only on my life,” she added.

Mishi Khan clarified that she would no longer post videos pointing out social or political problems. Instead, she plans to spend her time in peace and self-care.

Her fans responded with support and encouragement, appreciating her honesty and advising her to take a well-deserved break. Many expressed that they respected her decision and wished her well.
