Human skeleton found in Lahore Identified as woman murdered by sons

2 min read

LAHORE: Police have identified the human skeleton found a few days ago in Kahna as that of a woman named Margret, who was murdered by her own two sons.

According to police sources, Margret was strangled to death by her sons, Shafiq James and Nabeel James, after she refused to give them money. The body was later dumped near fields.

During the investigation, police discovered a buried shopping bag near the remains. The bag contained cash and electricity bills, which led investigators to the victim’s residence. It was then confirmed that Margret had been reported missing.

When questioned, the two sons confessed to killing their mother. They admitted that they were addicted to crystal meth (ice) and demanded money from her. Margret, who worked in people’s homes and had saved about 50,000 rupees, refused to give them money. In anger, the sons killed her and disposed of the body in a rickshaw.

Police said the revelations highlight both the brutality of the crime and the devastating impact of drug addiction within families.
