SKARDU: Famous Pakistani singer Quratulain Baloch (QB) narrowly escaped serious harm after being attacked by a bear while camping in Deosai National Park.
According to reports, the wild animal suddenly pounced on her, striking both arms with its claws. The singer sustained injuries but managed to survive without life-threatening wounds.
She was rushed to the Regional Hospital Skardu, where doctors provided immediate medical treatment. Medical staff confirmed that her arms were affected by claw injuries but her condition remained stable.
After treatment, Baloch was declared out of danger and later discharged from the hospital. Local authorities confirmed the attack occurred during a private camping trip in Deosai, a high-altitude national park where bears are often seen roaming.
The incident has raised concerns about safety measures for visitors in wildlife areas. Officials have urged tourists to take precautions and avoid camping alone in zones known for bear activity.
