
LAHORE: In a major boost for Pakistan cricket, South Africa is set to play a full series across all formats in the country including Test matches after more than four years.
According to sources, the first Test match will be staged at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore, from October 12 to 16, while the second Testbwill take place at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium from October 20 to 24.
The white-ball leg of the tour will begin with the ODI series. Rawalpindi will host the opening game on October 28, followed by two matches at Iqbal Stadium, Faisalabad, on October 31 and November 2 marking the city’s long-awaited return to international cricket.
The action will then shift to T20Is, with the series opener in Multan on November 5, before concluding with two back-to-back matches at Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium on November 8 and 9.
The tour is being hailed as a landmark moment for Pakistan cricket, as it underscores the growing confidence of international teams in returning to play in the country.
