
Lahore: A two-member review delegation from the South African Cricket Board has arrived in Lahore to assess security and logistical arrangements ahead of the country’s upcoming tours to Pakistan.
According to details, the delegation will hold meetings with Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) officials as well as senior representatives of law enforcement agencies. The visitors will also be given a tour of the Lahore Safe City Project to review surveillance and monitoring systems.
Officials said the delegation will be briefed on arrangements for both the women’s and men’s teams, including security protocols, accommodation, and other logistics.
In the first phase, the South Africa women’s cricket team is scheduled to land in Lahore on September 12, while the men’s Test team will tour later in October–November.
Sources confirmed that after Lahore, the delegation will also visit Faisalabad and Islamabad for further briefings. Their final report will be submitted to the South African Cricket Board before the tours begin.
The visit marks an important step in ensuring smooth and secure tours as Pakistan continues to host top international cricket series.
