“It is deeply saddening to witness the devastation caused by floods in Pakistan,” he added. “Hundreds of people have been separated from their loved ones.”

The Iranian minister affirmed that his country stands shoulder to shoulder with the people of Pakistan. Naqvi thanked his Iranian counterpart.

“Climate change is becoming a harbinger of devastating destruction in Pakistan,” Naqvi added. “For the first time in history, Pakistan is going through such a dangerous climate situation.”
