ISLAMABAD, (Internews) : The Chinese embassy in Pakistan has extended warm congratulations to Pakistan on the successful launch of a new remote sensing satellite, marking another milestone in China-Pakistan space cooperation.
In an official statement released on Thursday the embassy warmly congratulated the successful launch of a new remote sensing satellite for Pakistan from the Xichang satellite launch center, China! May this satellite further strengthen our iron brother’s capabilities in land resource survey and disaster prevention and alleviation.
The satellite was launched from the Xichang satellite launch center in southwestern China and is expected to enhance Pakistan’s ability to monitor land resources, manage environmental data and respond more effectively to natural disasters.
