The DG Sports Punjab Khizar Afzaal Chaudhry has announced a one-year scholarship for the players who won the Asian Under-16 Volleyball Championship.
Chaudhry met the victorious players and congratulated them on their exceptional performance. During the meeting, he also declared a monthly stipend of Rs70,000 for players in the Platinum category.
He stated that the players had made history through their dedication, discipline and teamwork. He added that identifying and supporting such talent remains a top priority for the department. “I am confident that our players will continue to raise the country’s profile on the international stage,” he said.
Chaudhry described the team’s victory over Iran in the final as a remarkable accomplishment. The team’s head coach, Kifayatullah, along with other officials, was also present at the meeting.
