Pakistan Super League (PSL) management has finalized the schedule for the 11th edition of the tournament, sources confirmed on Sunday.
According to sources, PSL 11 is set to take place in April and May next year, running parallel to the Indian Premier League (IPL), due to scheduling adjustments prompted by the T20 World Cup.
The PSL management is also considering expanding the list of venues to host more matches across different cities in Pakistan.
Sources further revealed that the December-January window has been scrapped to accommodate the addition of two new teams in the upcoming season.
Franchise owners had reportedly raised concerns over the poor pitch conditions during PSL 10. The management has taken these complaints seriously and is planning to improve pitch standards for the next season.
Additionally, PSL officials have initiated contact with potential buyers interested in purchasing the two new teams.
The inclusion of new teams and the shift in the tournament window indicate that PSL 11 is poised for significant expansion and a broader national footprint.
