Field Marhsal Asim Munir lauds overseas Pakistanis as true ambassadors of nation

Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, NI (M), Chief of Army Staff (COAS), is currently on an official visit to the United States, where he met with members of the overseas Pakistani community in Washington, D.C.

The COAS received a warm and enthusiastic reception, with a large number of expatriates gathering to welcome him.

The overseas Pakistanis praised the Pakistan Armed Forces for their exemplary performance in Operation Bunyanum Marsoos (Marka-e-Haq), commending their professionalism, courage, and dedication.

During the interaction, General Munir expressed deep appreciation for the vital role played by overseas Pakistanis, referring to them as true ambassadors of the nation.

COAS acknowledged their significant contributions to Pakistan’s economy and international image through remittances, investments, and achievements in various fields.

The attendees shared their views and suggestions with the Army Chief, who underscored the importance of continued engagement and cooperation between Pakistan and its diaspora.

He emphasized the need to address mutual challenges and strengthen collaborative efforts for national development.

The session concluded on a note of mutual commitment, with both the COAS and the expatriate community reaffirming their resolve to work collectively toward a more secure, prosperous, and resilient Pakistan.
