The much-anticipated Pakistan-Bangladesh white-ball series is likely to see a slight shift in schedule, with the start date expected to move from May 25 to either May 27 or 28, according to sources.
The change is reportedly being considered to accommodate logistical adjustments linked to the ongoing Pakistan Super League (PSL), sources said on Monday.
Insiders revealed that matches scheduled in Faisalabad are likely to be rescheduled, while those planned for Lahore will go ahead as originally planned.
Earlier it was reported that the first T20I between Pakistan and Bangladesh would be played in Faisalabad on May 25.
According to Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) sources, the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) had agreed to send its team to Pakistan.
There are no security concerns in Pakistan and the series will take place across both scheduled venues.
Recently, Bangladeshi cricketer Rishad Hossain expressed concerns to local media regarding tensions between Pakistan and India.
Despite this, the Bangladeshi team is expected to play a five-match T20I series in Faisalabad and Lahore.
