Peshawar: Another case of polio has been confirmed in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, as an 11-year-old boy from the Torghar district has tested positive for the virus, according to the provincial health department.

The National Institute of Health’s Regional Reference Laboratory for Polio has confirmed the presence of the virus in the child.

This is the second polio case reported in the province this year. The first case of 2025 was detected in January in Dera Ismail Khan, health officials said.
