In his address, Salman Akram Raja said, “We invite you – come and talk to us. If you refuse dialogue, we are ready, and we will struggle.”

He stated, “The people of Pakistan are not a herd – you must listen to our voice.”

Opposition leader Omar Ayub stated that on 8 July, a meeting of the Green Initiative was held at the President’s House, where amendments to the IRSA Act’s water measurement procedure was discussed and signed by President Asif Zardari.

Pashtunkhwa Milli Awami Party chief Mahmood Achakzai proposed leaving the parliamentary committees and establishing a parallel opposition house.
