The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecast mainly dry weather across Islamabad, Rawalpindi, and most parts of the country during the Eid-ul-Fitr holidays.
According to the PMD, continental air is dominating most regions of Pakistan. As a result, dry conditions will prevail in the twin cities and other areas over the weekend, while the plains will experience hot weather during the Eid-ul-Fitr holidays.
With no rain-bearing system approaching the country, similar weather conditions are expected to continue throughout the Eid holidays.
Islamabad is likely to remain hot and dry over the next 12 hours. Most districts of Balochistan will experience hot weather, while Punjab is expected to witness strong winds. Sindh will also remain dry, with strong winds in various areas.
In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the upper districts will have partly cloudy skies. Meanwhile, dry weather is predicted for Gilgit-Baltistan and Azad Kashmir, according to the PMD.
