Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) senior leader Dr Yasmin Rashid said on Thursday that the country should be run in line with the constitution instead of bringing laws like the PECA Act and 26th constitutional amendment.

According to details, Dr Rashid issued a letter to the media. She lashed out at the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP). “The PPP had staged a protest yesterday in connection with canals. These people are trying to befool the people of Sindh.”

“The people of Sindh know that Asif Ali Zardari had given the approval of the project. A few days back, Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari was supporting the cooperative farming,” she said.

Dr Rashid maintained, “Everybody knows how the father and son [Asif Ali Zardari and Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari] had deceived the people of Sindh.”

“I am surprised about the enforcement of Section-144 at the time of the PPP’s protest,” she said.

Dr Rashid claimed that the PTI was “mistreated” in Punjab.”
