In a dominant performance, Pakistan defeated the West Indies in the 1st Test at Multan, wrapping up the match on January 17, 2025.

The West Indies were bowled out for just 123 in their second innings, chasing a target of 251. Abrar Ahmed played a crucial role with the ball, taking 4 wickets for 27 runs, while Sajid Khan added 5 wickets for 50 runs.

Pakistan’s bowling attack proved too strong for the West Indies, who had no answer to the spinners’ accuracy. Jomel Warrican was the final wicket to fall, as Abrar Ahmed trapped him leg before wicket for a duck, sealing a 127-run victory for Pakistan.

Pakistan’s comprehensive win marks a strong start to the Test series, showcasing their clinical bowling and ability to dominate under pressure.
